Anna who grows up in a Christian place of worship in a small village in Rogaland and who tries to maneuver through a world that is on the one hand characterized by expectations, religion and old traditions, and on the other hand tempts with urge to break away and youth rebellion.  It is also about those around Anna and how they choose to relate to her, and especially her father, Erling. This is as much a story about him as it is about Anna.
