"SKA SEI!" is a tribute to the city of Stavanger and everyone who has it in their hearts. Themes such as Oil, Sport, Occupation, People and Culture are central and are told using archive material. Extensive use of well-known and beloved local music helps to reinforce the patriotic and nostalgic elements, and is one of the film's cornerstones.
